I have always strived to purchase
and subsequently breed dogs that fit my personal image of an ideal Keeshond. I
will admit that image has evolved over the 35 years since we purchased our first
dog. I'm very happy with the image that I now have for my ideal and I am
pleased with how my breeding program is getting closer to producing a living
example of that image. However, I will not compromise the health of my
dogs in the quest for that goal. Accordingly my dogs undergo the required
screening (hips, knees, eyes) prior to inclusion in my breeding program.
