Bred in 1992 by Holly and Peter Colcord of Yan-kee Kennels, "LeRoy" arrived at Keesbrook in March of 1994 as an 18 month old. Although completely new to the show scene he completed his Canadian championship in short order winning and placing in group. In 1995 he became a multi-group winner, a BIS and BISS winner and ranked Number 2 Keeshond in Canada (No. 1 owner handled) in only 30 shows. He completed his American championship in 2 weekends including two 5 point BOB's and BOW's at the Sahuaro Keeshond Specialty (1995 KCA National weekend). Semi-retired after that he did come back out in 1996 briefly to win Best of Breed at the Heritage Trail Keeshond Specialty. LeRoy was Top Stud in Canada in 1995 and 1996 and also won the Stud dog class at the KCA Nationals in 1997 and 1998. He has his Canadian Hall of Fame (CHOF), his Certificate of Merit Excellent (Canadian : COMX) and his Registry of Merit Excellent (American : ROMX).

LeRoy passed away in Sept. 2004. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives and breeding programs were touched by this grand and gentle dog.
